The HZY-Z Oil Surface Tension Tester adopts the circular (platinum ring) method to measure the surface tension of various liquids (liquid–gas phase interface) and the interfacial tension between mineral oil and water (liquid–liquid phase interface) under non-equilibrium conditions. The instrument utilizes microprocessor technology, offering a high degree of automation, simple operation, and reliable performance. After the sample under test is injected into the sample cup, the instrument automatically completes the measurement once the start button is pressed, and calculates the tension value of the specimen automatically according to the specific parameters entered.
The instrument adopts a Wien bridge sine wave oscillator composed of high-precision, high-speed operational amplifiers, offering low distortion and easy debugging. Under non-equilibrium conditions, it can measure the surface and interfacial tension of various liquid–gas and liquid–liquid phases. Operation is simple, performance is stable and reliable, and tension values are calculated automatically. It is suitable for determining the surface and interfacial tension of products in petroleum, chemical, electric power, pharmaceutical, and other liquid industries.
The instrument uses a new and improved magnetic pot closed electromagnetic force balance sensor, which enhances response speed and linearity. The new sensor requires calibration at only one point, solving the problem of previous-generation sensors that needed multi-point calibration to ensure linearity and accuracy.
The internal microprocessor implements two-way compensation based on working temperature, using 25°C as the benchmark. The compensation range accommodates the ambient temperature of all laboratories.
