The Hertz Power HZXD-II is a portable digital battery internal resistance tester designed to measure the internal resistance, voltage, and temperature of rechargeable batteries such as lead-acid and lithium batteries. Also known as a general-purpose rechargeable battery internal resistance analyzer, it serves as an essential instrument for assessing battery health and can additionally measure Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) parameters of electrolytic capacitors (for reference only).
The instrument employs an AC 4-terminal testing method to measure battery internal resistance, ensuring accurate readings unaffected by contact resistance between test leads, terminals, and battery electrodes. It features data storage, data retrieval, alarms, and automatic shutdown. The device is sophisticated in design, broad in measurement range, high in resolution, easy to operate, portable, accurate, reliable, and stable in performance, with strong anti-interference capabilities. It is indispensable in battery production, battery installation, equipment production, and equipment maintenance.
Controlled by a microprocessor and equipped with a 16-bit ADC internally, the analyzer accurately detects battery internal resistance, voltage, and temperature. It operates without stopping the UPS system during measurement, using AC low-resistance measurement and noise reduction technology. This allows measurements to be conducted without interrupting the normal operation of the equipment being tested, significantly reducing testing time. It also includes data storage, bar graph display, data upload to computers, and wireless measurement and data retrieval via Bluetooth connection with smart devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets.
