The HZ-10K Transformer DC Resistance Tester is an essential instrument for transformer testing throughout the entire lifecycle — from manufacturing (semi-finished and finished products) and factory testing to installation, overhauls, tap changer adjustments, acceptance testing, and preventive maintenance by power departments.
It verifies the welding quality of winding joints, detects inter-turn short circuits in windings, confirms the contact quality of tap changer positions, and ensures the actual tap changer position matches the indicated position. It also identifies broken leads, broken strands in multi-strand wires, and other faults.
