The HZ2671 is a large-screen digital DC insulation resistance tester designed to measure the resistance of various insulating materials, as well as the insulation resistance of transformers, motors, cables, and electrical equipment. It also provides AC/DC voltage measurement and automatically calculates the absorption ratio (DAR) and polarization index (PI).
The HZ2671 is built with large-scale integrated circuits and features high output power, a high short-circuit current value, and multiple output voltage levels (four voltage levels per model). Its working principle uses an internal battery as the power source, generating DC high voltage through DC/DC conversion. The high voltage is output from the E terminal, passes through the test object, and reaches the L terminal, producing a current from E to L. This current is then converted and calculated by a divider, and the measured insulation resistance value is displayed directly on the LCD.
