Product Description

The assembled steel plate electromagnetic shielding chamber is developed and manufactured to meet diversified customer requirements. It is mainly applied to scenarios with high shielding effectiveness requirements, including electronic product testing, metering maintenance, and electromagnetic interference isolation for confidential information systems and equipment.

Note: This shielding chamber is dedicated to testing high-voltage switchgears and gas-insulated switchgears.

Structure & Manufacturing Process of the Shielded Chamber
  1. The shielding enclosure of the assembled chamber is fabricated from full 1.5 mm high-quality galvanized steel plates (inner surface coated with computer-white plastic powder), stamped into modular panels. Regular mounting holes are punched on the joint surfaces of adjacent panels. During assembly, elastic, anti-electrochemical corrosion conductive gaskets are clamped between panels, then fastened with M8 grade 4.8 color galvanized bolts and oval washers.
  2. Rectangular steel tubes are welded as support keels on the outer surface of the steel panels to improve structural rigidity and seismic resistance. Flatness calibration is performed on keels and modules; welding slag and oil stains are polished and removed as pretreatment for plastic spraying.
  3. Reserved openings are arranged for waveguide windows, power filters, central air-conditioning vents, as well as all cables and equipment passing through the shielding enclosure.
  4. All four-corner welding joints of each modular panel are inspected (welding process). Galvanization is carried out after confirming zero electromagnetic leakage. Scratches and heavy impact shall be avoided during packaging and transportation of galvanized shielding modules.
  5. After galvanization, plastic powder coating is applied to the outer surface of all shielding modules with an electroplating white finish.
